Mik Dow is co-founder of The Jars, Berkeley's premier old school new wave band. The Jars, active from 1979 to 1982, are remembered for such hits as Jar Wars and Time Of The Assassins from 1981, Start Right Now from 1980 and Boys Night Out from 1982. Mik released an ep with another Jars alum, JD Buhl, in 2011. Mik and his wife Morgan have fronted California's folk / rock band Beltain since 1993.
